On behalf of the Institute of Science & Technology and the National Think Tank Nigeria, I welcome our most distinguished African Statesman, Dr Thabo Mbeki former President of South Africa who is on an official visit to Nigeria.

Dr Mbeki gave an out standing lecture at the Awolowo Foundation Lecture. He met with President Jonathan yesterday and select members of the National Think Tank.

We also welcome my good friend Amb. Stinks Sofingo former South African Ambassador to Nigeria and Brazil who is on the entourage of Dr Thabo Mbeki.
